丸久小山園 高級薄茶 又玄
新鮮でナッツのような風味があり、長く続く甘味の後にかすかに苦い後味があります。 下のランクの青嵐や千木の白よりもふくよかでコクがあり、五十鈴よりも洗練されたお茶です。 高級な薄茶ならではの甘みはしっかりと感じることのできるお茶です。
茶銘「又玄」：
当時の薬師寺管長、橋本凝胤猊下より銘をいただきました。老子の言葉「玄之又玄、衆妙之門」よりの出典。奥深い上にも、なお奥深い道の広大無辺であることの形容で、優れたものの中の更に優れたものという意であります。

Nice flavor profile. As an usucha it has a noticeable but mild bitterness with a hint of a peanut-like flavor and light umami notes. The peanut-like flavor is enhanced when prepared as a latte, especially when prepared hot (I should also add that I do not sweeten my lattes). At first I was rather skeptical about this matcha really having a "peanut flavor" but I was proven wrong; just don´t expect it tasting like straigth up peanuts haha. As an usucha it is a nice pairing to some pastry/dessert because of its bitterness and because it´s not a high-complexity matcha. As a latte I prefer to enjoy it by itself.

I love this matcha as a latte. Its nutty character comes out just great. And it works very well with soy milk.

Dissapointing tea. Buy this only if you are a beginner to matcha. The tea is bland and lackluster. If you are like me and you like matcha with a some substantial flavor, buy shoukaku or Zuisen no Shiro On the otherhand. If you like matcha that not bitter and bland, buy this one. If you try to find non-bitter matcha, its easy to get stuck in a total non-flavor mode. Just not for me

So far this one is my favourite matcha alongside Kinrin, very nice toasted taste, almost no bitterness

Has a nice sort of astringency, almost tangy flavor. This matcha has a lovely flavor profile. It's more nuanced than Chigi no shiri and Isuzu and very forgivable no matter how you make it. Out of all the matcha experiences from Marukyu Koyamaen, this is my favorite. I always make sure I have a can of it ready.

An excellent matcha. Very prompt shipping, with a very competitive price structure especially for us in the United States (compare e.g with wayoftea, ebay). Good selection of stock that expires after a reasonably long time.

I agree I do not care for this Matcha .It has to me, a bitter aftertaste.It is prrof you get what pay for.The least expensive Matcha I have ever bought from Sazen(or elsewhere) and it shows. will probably give the rest of the can away.Too bad we cant get samples before we buy
