I bought this because it was inexpensive. I prefer light and nutty sencha and this one is fairly rich in umami and somewhat thick. To me this tea is a bit underwhelming for not being exceptional at what it does and for not being exactly what I like. I'm not sure I much care for the way in which is the bitterness presents itself either. Merely my thoughts. The tea is still quite good & high quality and I cannot fault it for being what it is. For me personally though it's not quite perfect.
