This chasen is simply wonderful! I previously bought the starter set from Sazentea which includes a plastic/resin chasen. I used the resin chasen for a week while I got used to the whisking technique and the results seemed good, but when I started to use this bamboo chasen instead, the difference was like night and day. This creates a perfect froth and both the taste and consistency of my matcha is far superior to anything else you could whisk with - it was a completely different experience. I will definitely continue to purchase this chasen again when my current one starts to wear out out in a year or two!
