This one was a lovely malty matcha, a very nice mouthfeel for sure. There are strong leafy green, steamed green mid notes, with a nice even finish. There is a very slight sweetness mixed in with a pleasant bitterness that doesn't linger. Such a gd daytime tea. It really is an energizing sip.

Absolute favorite from all 5 I bought in my order. Balanced taste with just the right amount of bitterness. Nuts are definitely the main note here, quite easy to taste and very pleasant. I found no sea or algae flavours, umami and intense tea hints are what builds this matcha instead. I like it better prepared with 80 celcius water instead of 90 that is proposed - cooler water seems to bring out more of the flavours in my opinion. This matcha left a long lasting memory of itself, surely will be repurchasing this one.

Slight bitterness and grassiness. Astringent aftertaste, no hints of nutty flavours. Didn't really enjoy it.

Very refreshing matcha powder for usucha! This matcha has an immediate cooling/calming sensation when it touches your taste buds. I have not felt this sensation in other matchas. It is very pleasant and makes you want to drink more. The flavor might not be strong enough for lattes however. For lattes it would be best to look for more flavorful or more astringent matchas.

My forever repurchase, might be better if Sazen allows me to buy multiple stocks of this, so far this is the only one that I consider repurchase from Sazen, but living on the other side of the globe so I had to buy more from other brands to buy this. I drink matcha latte with this and dairy milk, it's flavourful, creamy, very creamy, bitterness is nowhere to be found, smells like cheese, beautiful and satisfying, a solid 10
