What's not to like? Simple, adorable, and a real treat for myself and for others, especially if I'm offering matcha and other teas to co-practitioners in the monastery. The smoke coming out of the little cat's ears seems to delight and amuse everyone who sees it for the first time. I found myself quite impressed with the little ceramic piece for the incense itself: the design allows cone incense to burn completely, and the width of the stick incense section accepts wider incense well. This little cat and stick incense from Shoyeido's Horin line seem to have been made for each other.
