Thank you for your feedback! This tea powder is made of sencha. Sencha leaves are grown in sunlight - as opposed to matcha, which is shaded before harvest. This difference in the growing process results in quite a different taste; sencha has a more bitter taste, so we recommend it for customers who prefer bolder flavors.
