Hand-crafted tea caddy made of cherry bark
The base of the caddy is made of either walnut or willow wood, which is covered with very thin and fine Japanese cherry bark panels. Cherry bark craftsmanship originates from Akita prefecture and looks back on more than 200 years of history.
"Muji" is a technique when the cherry bark's surface gets a polished finish.
