Amacha is made of the leaves of domestic organic hydrangea.
After the producers dry the leaves in the sun, ferment and crumple them, they are supposed to be dried again.
Amacha is used as a sacrificial drink on Buddha's birthday in Japan.
This tea attracts a lot of Westerners because of non-calorie and its natural sweet flavor.

Tea processing method:
withering, hand rolling, short fermentation, drying.
Getting into hot water, the tea has
light yellow color.

This tea has a special, very sweet, long lasting taste. It does`t contain caffeine at all so you can drink it whenever you want. For brewing I used only 1.5 g of tea leaves and with 1-1 dl of hot water I could prepare 5-6 infusions. Very nice tea. If you like sweet things, you must try it!
