Bessan Tenmoku Chawan
Matcha tea bowl by Oketani Teiichi, Kiyomizuyaki
Craftmanship of Oketani Teiichi tenmoku glaze specialist.

It is made using a special double glazing technique, where after applying the first coat of glaze they remove it from random places, then apply a coat of clear glaze. Turtles are the symbol of long life in Asia and appear in many areas of art.
