Handmade and hand-painted bamboo tea scoop decorated with cherry blossom. The back of the scoop is coated with golden lacquer.
"Maki-e" means sprinkled design. The master paints with lacquer and sprinkles gold or silver powder on the picture.

Cleaning:
After use, some matcha powder might stick to the scoop. To clean it, always use a dry cloth. Bamboo is extremely sensitive to moisture. If you clean it with a wet cloth, the water and the matcha powder seep into the material and damage it. Make sure you keep it dry!
Do not expose it to direct sunlight for too long!
