Washing instructions
Step 1) Before cleaning, disassemble the parts, and wash them separately with water.
Step 2) After washing, set the parts again together and place it back on the holder.
- After use, store the whisk on the whisk stand to keep its shape.
- This whisk is only for preparing matcha, do not use for other purposes.
- If used in 100℃, the tips of the whisk may bend, which you can fix by putting it in boiling water again. The tips will automatically get back their original shape.
- Children should only use this product with adult supervision.
- Do not use whisk over open fire. Do not use in the oven or the microwave.
Since the whisk is made from polypropylene it may change the color of matcha, but that does not affect your health.
- Do not use with special, traditional tea bowls (eg. Rakuchawan).
- Over time the tips of the whisk will get worn out. At this point, it is better to purchase a new one.

This chasen does not work nearly as well as a cheap bamboo ones that you can get at a typical supermarket. However, it’s washable so it’s good for when you want to mix in with milk or other ingredients, or leave it out for guests to use
