Sometimes one struggles to describe the flavors of a tea, but with this one it's very apparent - well boiled asparagus. Deeper green than most of the other senchas, and a finer cut to the material.

This year's Organic Kirishima Sencha is every bit as good as last years. Very clear with a fresh aroma in the leaves both before and after brewing. Very easy to brew without any bitterness. I used water temps from 158 to 176, all with excellent results.

Another excellent and very flavorful tea from Sazen! This tea has a nice mellow, rich taste that is very impressive. There are many tea drinkers who claim that organic teas don't taste as good. This is one organic tea that proves them to be very wrong.
