This is the first Gyokuro i've tried from Marukyu, smells fragrant and has a beautiful rich green color to it. Taste wise i find it almost the same as the oku no yama gyokuro i bought before but i do find this one to be very slightly sweeter compared to oku no yama for horii. It lasted about 3 infusion (4 if counting the first long one at room temperature) which is an up from oku no yama. But it loses out to nyusho gyokuro in terms of the strength of fragrance and nyusho having a stronger umani during the first infusion. I find it fairly priced inbetween oku no yama and nyusho.
