Typically Japanese incense sticks aren't very strong and I need to burn multiple sticks at once to fill my fairly large living space with the scent of the incense. Even then it can be too subdued. Not so with Genroku, whose sticks are very small in diameter and length but a couple of them will fill the area with a very pleasant sandalwood aroma. This makes them relatively cheap compared to lower priced sticks which require the burning of so many at one time to get a similar effect. The scent of Genroku is mellow, pleasant and relaxing. I recommend this to anyone who likes the scent of sandalwood.
