"Saemidori" single origin green tea
A rich and sweet taste with a fresh, grassy aroma. The tea soup has an exceptionally beautiful, lush green color.
Origin: Tongu, Tsuchiyama-Cho, Koka-shi, Shiga Prefecture
Altitude: 260 meters
Picking time: beginning of May 2025
Cultivation method: shaded 18 days
Temperature for roasting: 75℃
Ohmi tea has great prestige and is loved by many for its rich flavor and fragrance, which are brought about by the rich nature, plenty of sunshine and the beautifully clean waters and air coming from the surrounding Suzuka mountains.
According to the legends, Zen monks brought the first tea seeds to the area in the 14th century from Kyoto, so zen temples cultivated Ohmi tea first. Thanks to its characteristic aromas, by the 19th century, it became much in demand, even for export.

STEP 1) Warm your teapot. Pour boiling water into a teapot, let it sit for a little while, then pour it into cups, to let it cool down to 80℃ (176ºF).
STEP 2) Fill your pot with tea leaves in a 5g/200ml ratio.
STEP 3) Pour the water from the cups into the teapot, and brew for 60 seconds.
STEP 4) Pour the tea into the cups, and serve.
STEP 5) Brew again. The same tea leaves can be infused three times. Use hotter water for the second and third infusion, but steep for a shorter time.

This is rlly good tea for this price... ~11$ per 100g! 30cents for 2x 150ml cups... Amazing price for daily drinker...If you looking for shaded tea for extremly low price.... this is it... but in no way it cant beat random 15$ per 50g teas.
