Held annually since 1947, the Japan National Tea Competition (全国茶品評会) brings together top producers from across Japan to showcase their best harvests. This year’s event in Nara Prefecture (the first in 15 years) featured 819 entries from 819 lots, judged by 20 experts over four days in August 2025.
We have collected the highest-rated teas in their categories, then blended them with the help of our tea master partner to create unique flavors. This is how we present them to you now.
